File Blender is a free and portable interface for more than a half-dozen tools. Drag and drop everything from pictures to music to File Blender and convert it to something new.

File Blender is a simple GUI for the command line conversion tools included in popular applications like InfranView and Lame MP3. Drag files into the File Blender button and convert all kinds of files including MP3s, WAVs, JPGs, and other audio and image formats.

You can download File Blender by itself or File Blender with all the support apps included. If you download the full package (4.5MB) you won’t have to do any configuration at all. If you download the stand-alone interface you’ll need to configure File Blender to run with your favorite command line friendly applications. One of the oldest tricks used by rogue antivirus products is to use a similar name as, or have a similar look and feel to, legitimate security software. It’s been commonplace for them to mimic the Windows Security Center. So it was inevitable that the day would arrive when a rogue would masquerade as something similar to Microsoft Security Essentials.

This one calls itself “Security Essentials 2010” and looks something like this:

Et gigantisk stykke is er knækket af gletsjeren Mertz på Antarktis. Isbjerget er 400 meter tykt, det er 78 km langt og 39 kilometer bredt, og dermed på størrelse med Fyn.Australske forskere har siden 2007 fulgt Mertz-gletsjeren som i flere år har haft en revne i den ene side.Men for nyligt er et andet lige så stort isbjerg med en længde på 97 km begyndt at støde mod gletsjeren.Den 20. februar kunne forskerne så se på et satellitbillede at den yderste tunge af gletsjeren var revnet hele vejen igennem.Isbjerget er så stort så det samlede vandindhold vil kunne dække hele verdens forbrug i et år.Forskerne har ingen ide om hvor det kæmpe isbjerg vil drive hen. Isbjerget er nemlig så stort at det vil have indflydelse på havstrømmene ved Antarktis.

Den schweiziske fridykker Peter Colat har sat ny verdensrekord i at holde vejret under vand.

I 19 minutter og 21 sekunder var mund og næse under vand i en vandtank i St. Gallen i Schweiz, skriver telegraph.co.uk.

Det er sku da utroligt at det kan lade sig gøre vi andre kan knap holde det 1 minut.
