Det nye angreb påstår, at en af dine venner har meldt dig for at have overtrådt Facebooks berygtede brugervilkår. Applikationen i Facebook hedder “f a c e b o o k – - closing down”, og den sender falske advarsler til brugere om, at han eller hun har overtrådt reglerne og derfor er på nippet til at blive smidt ud. GBRIDGE your own Virtual Private Network(VPN).

Gbridge is an extension to Google’s Gtalk network service. It automatically forms a VPN between user’s multiple computers if logged in under same Gtalk user account. The VPN can also be extended to Gtalk friends based on invitation. Gbridge also has several built-in features which integrates popular functions such as folder synchronization, remote desktop share (VNC), automatic backup, live browsing, chat, etc.

What its actually does is it gets your port id from your google account info and passes it to your friend . so you two can have direct connection btw you. Your own VPN.

Gbridge has built in several features on top of VPN:

* SecureShare: Share a file or folder on one of your computer, so you can access them from other computer. Or you can grant your friends’ access to those files.

* AutoSync: Automatically synchronize folders between computers.

* LiveBrowse The remote shared folder can be browsed without having been synced. Gbridge automatically generates thumnails and slideshow for picture files. Some types of media files, e.g. mp3, wma, flv, wmv, rm, midi, swf, can be played online.

* EasyBackup: Easily setup backup of files between your own computers.

* DesktopShare: Remotely access your own computer desktop or invite your friend to your computer desktop.

* Chat: You can chat with your friends who are running Gbridge, Gtalk or Gmail.

* 3rd party applications: Microsoft remote desktop, Microsoft share folder, ssh, ftp can run on top the the Gbridge VPN.

Since Gbridge implements these features on top of its custom made VPN, it allows the user to have fine control over what resources other people can see. For example, user can have fine control over which friend can access for each SecureShare.

Den lille maskine kommer fra koreanske UMID, og maskinen har fået navnet Mbook. Dimensionerne er små: 16 x 9 centimeter med en tykkelse på 1,8 centimeter og den vejer bare 315 gram. Skærmen klemt ned på 4,8 tommer, og er dermed under halvt så stor som den, der ellers blevet standard på de fleste netbooks. Alligevel er opløsningen imponerende 1024 x 600 pixel.

Folkene, der udvikler det gratis Linux-styresystem Ubuntu, lover allerede en meget hurtig opstart i den version af systemet, der er på vej ud. Den først kommende nye udgave har fået kodenavnet Jaunty Jackalope, den er version 9.04 af den gratis Linux udgave, og den kommer med stor sandsynlighed i løbet af april måned. Den version skal bare bruge 25 sekunder fra din pegefinger rammer netbook’ens powerknap, til du kan kaste dig over netsurf og musik.

use gmail offline Well, not literally, of course, but now you can access Gmail even when you’re offline. The Ninjas over at the Gmail team have created a masterpiece and are inviting you to give their new offering a spin.

Too Dramatic, was it ?

Well, the reason that I’m being so dramatic is that the feature that Google has released this time is one that I’ve been personally waiting for ages and definitely deserves this attention.

The big deal is that you can now access and use Gmail offline, that is without Internet connection. Obviously, you will not be able to send any emails while you’re offline, but atleast you can read them, and any emails that you send during this time will be queued up and delivered the moment you get back online. Anyway you look at it, this is an incredible feature to have.

Cyberkriminelle kan konstruere en pdf-fil med skadelig kode, som kan åbne en bagdør på en computer, der som kører Adobes pdf-programmer. Den advarsel kommer fra Adobe selv, efter selskabet har fundet en kritisk fejl i deres software.

Fejlen findes i Adobe Reader 9 og Acrobat 9 og alle tidligere versioner, siger Adobe.
